We are a full-scope private optometry group located in Grand Junction, Colorado. We offer a great work environment with three doctors and eleven staff members. Our caring and fun employees have helped our office be selected by Grand Valley residents as the "Best of the West" eye care practice each of the past three years. We love our staff because they help make us who we are. We offer a competitive salary with production bonuses to provide the income you deserve. Benefits include: 88 hours of PTO annually, medical insurance, a 40 hour work week, M-F, 8-5:00 with 1 hour lunch, no evening or weekend hours except for the rare emergency call, retirement plan after 1 year employment, malpractice insurance, and potential partnership opportunity. We are continually striving to improve. Our office is equipped with Zeiss OCT, Optos Daytona Optomap, Zeiss Corneal Topographer, Zeiss Visual Field tester, Marco tonoref, etc. We are a well respected eye care office in the community and are currently booked one to two months in advance with no advertising and the practice is healthy and still growing. Our senior partner, Dr. Parker Call is hoping to retire this year, but not until he can find an enthusiastic, skilled and caring optometrist to take over his patients. Grand Junction has a great climate with over 300 days of sunshine annually. The Grand Valley is a low crime area with good schools, and a growing population of approximately 140,000+. It serves as a regional medical center for western Colorado and eastern Utah. It has world renowned mountain biking trails and is home of the Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat top mountain, with over 200 freshwater lakes. It is also home to the Colorado National Monument. Great outdoor recreation opportunities are available. The Grand Valley sits at the boundary of desert and the Rocky Mountains. Outdoor activities include miles of mountain and road biking trails, golfing, Gold Medal fishing (Gunnison, Yampa, Colorado rivers), rafting, camping, hiking, skiing at Powderhorn Resort on the Grand Mesa (40 minute drive), skiing at over six resorts within a 2 hour drive, paddle boarding, etc. We have a very active baseball, softball, soccer, tennis and paddleball community. It is just minutes to the Grand Junction Regional Airport. It is home to Colorado Mesa University with over 10,000 students enrolled and growing. And every year Grand Junction hosts the JUCO National baseball championship in June. The area is famous for Palisade peaches and wineries. It is a great place for raising a family and with it's incredible weather it is perfect for retirement too!
