Edge Optics is a quickly growing, family-owned practice in Fort Collins, CO. Fort Collins is a wonderful, community-oriented city, where CSU is located. We are in the foothills of the mountains with a river and bike trails running through our town. We have a very active, vibrant demographic with many young professionals and families. We have a unique optical experience with a built-in bar for our patients, handpicked high-quality products that reflect our values, and the newest tech! We have dozens of plants and gorgeous décor that fits the Colorado lifestyle with over 300 days of sunshine pouring into our wall of windows. We also have a dedicated kids' zone where we've created a space where kids are welcome and think the eye doctor is fun! We are building our Myopia Control patients, and have the technology and bandwidth to support this venture. We've been in practice for over 12 years, and we just moved to our brand-new building downtown where we have really elevated our style and offerings. We have a blast at work every day! We host social events bimonthly, and all of our 17 staff members are fun, very focused on growth, and intelligent. They are extremely engaged in our clinic and make it a joy! We actually enjoy working together and we have a unique style of doing things. We value someone with a sense of humor and a desire to make their patients feel appreciated, and will take the time to follow-up and listen. Our exam slots are 30 minutes to ensure quality care. We have the newest technology and state of the art exam rooms. We are looking to find someone to fill the third exam lane. We are flexible on hours and scheduling, and would accommodate a four-day work week. The salary would be a range of $575-$625 per day depending on experience and qualifications, including benefits. We are open to a part-time employee if it's a good fit but we are booking out pretty far in advance. We also offer compensation for Lasik co-management, Myopia Control, and specialty contact lenses. We also give back a considerable amount to local nonprofits, and we're always working with local organization to give back and make a difference. We focus on youth, homelessness, and outdoor clubs. We also support and sponsor many teams from CSU. Our business was built on community service. We support the local homeless with our program of giving them free eye exams and glasses, and we donate about five pairs a month to ensure they can be successful and hopefully move into finding jobs and housing with their newfound vision. It is very rewarding, and we take pride in this program. It is crucial that a future doc would be interested in providing quality care to this population.We have 3 doctors, all working part-time schedules, and would like to find the best fit for our office based on personality, desire to live in our awesome community, and someone that wants to connect with our patient base. We want our future Doc to be super happy in their role, and also have a high quality of work/life balance. You can walk from our office to the river on your lunch break, or to some of the best restaurants in Fort Collins! You can ride your bike to work if you want! We have a very safe, friendly, dynamic community.
