Full-time/Part-time Medical Optometrist position in Northern Virginia (Winchester, VA)

Excellent opportunity in Northern Virginia for Optometrist interested in Outpatient clinical care.  Primary location in Winchester, VA with occasional coverage in Fairfax County (Centreville/Herndon).

Glaucoma Consultants of Washington is a unique subspecialty practice in the Northern Virginia region dedicated to the medical and surgical management of glaucoma.   We have a unique referral base of nearly 200 Optometrists and Ophthalmologists in the region and are the go-to practice for routine and complex glaucoma care in the area.

We are currently expanding and looking for a Full-time Optometrist (O.D.) with an interest in managing medical and surgical eye diseases (especially Glaucoma) in a diverse population adjacent to Winchester Medical Center.  Residency training in a Veterans Affairs Medical Center setting a Plus but willing to train the right candidate. Excellent Clinical skills/training a must. 

Less than an hour from the beautiful Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns and less than 2 hours from our Nation's Capital.

Competitive starting salary based on experience with bonus structure with use of fully integrated EHR, (Modernizing Medicine).
