Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the eye, the visual system, and associated structures; identify systemic conditions affecting the eye; counsel patients regarding surgical and non-surgical treatment options that meet their occupation and lifestyle; prescribe treatments including medications, low vision rehabilitation, spectacle lenses, and contact lenses; and perform certain surgical procedures.
This position requires working in seven locations: 346 South Broadway, Salem, NH 03079 (Rockingham County); 652 Lafayette Road, Unit 3, Seabrook, NH 03874 (Rockingham County); 273 Loudon Road, Suite 7, Concord, NH 03301 (Merrimack County); 310 DW Hwy., A201A, Pheasant Lane, Nashua NH 03060 (Hillsborough County); One Highland Avenue, Town Line Plaza, Malden MA 02148 (Middlesex County); 90 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, MA 01803 (Middlesex County); and 700 Boston Post Road, Billerica, MA 01821 (Middlesex County).
Travel Requirement: Please note the worksites operate on a rotating schedule based on need, and the candidate may need to travel to each worksite approximately 3-4 times a month.

Candidate must have a Doctor of Optometry degree. Additionally, candidate must have and Optometric License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Optometry, a Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR), an Optometric License issued by the New Hampshire Board of Registration in Optometry, and registration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). (Please note that an MCSR and registration with the U.S. DEA are required in order to prescribe certain prescription medications in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, respectively.)
