Full time Optometrists

Exceptional opportunity to join a busy private practice as a full time associate. Ideal candidate would be a motivated and hard working individual, with personable chair-side manner able to practice in a medical model. Preference given to candidates with additional training (residency, fellowship, or board certification). Must have O.D. degree from a nationally accredited institution. Must be licensed to practice Optometry in the State of Minnesota (or be license-eligible) including diagnostic and therapeutic privileges. Rochester Family Eye Clinic is the largest private practice in SE Minnesota. Rochester Minnesota is home to the famous Mayo Clinic and is rapidly growing. Our staff is made of up 8 technicians and 7 opticians, all exceptionally trained. The staff takes care of pretesting, insurance and billing, scheduling, and all administrative responsibilities. We have 4 full time doctors and 1 part time doctor. Future buy in opportunity possible. Licensing fees and malpractice insurance covered.

Our doctors practice full scope optometry and utilize the latest equipment including: Zeiss Cirrus OCT, Zeiss retinal camera, Optos, Zeiss atlas topographer, pachymetry, as well as Humphrey VFA. Candidates would be expected to perform approximately 13 exams per day along with 3 short visits. Exams range from primary care, pediatric, disease, contact lenses, emergency office visits, to pre-op/post-op care. Interested individuals should contact Terry Downs with CV.
