Our practice, location, and lifestyle opportunities are unlike anything you'll experience elsewhere.  

Launch (or re-kindle) a fantastic career with us, in our beautiful, 24,000 sf eye center with full optical, technical, surgical and administrative support.  We're a private practice, and intend to stay that way in order to best serve our community, staff, and ourselves. Prepare to be amazed!

Work with every type of patient, injury, and medical/surgical eye disease, in collaboration with me and our four fabulous, eminently capable ODs.  

This is not the boonies.  We handle most medical and surgical eye issues in house. You will be intricately involved in the pre and post op care of our surgical patients, which is really gratifying. However, we refer out for trabs, cornea/refractive surgery, retina, strabismus, and complex plastics...because we don't hate ourselves.

We are completely spoiled, with nearly every type of diagnostic/treatment device.  We train and work our technicians, scribes, and opticians optimally to make the docs' day easier.  For example, your technician will use a Marco Epic refraction station to refract, gather all the exam data, and dilate...so you don't have to.  Together with our expert IT, HR, front office, scribes, optical and billing pit crews, they'll work hard to keep your productivity and sanity maximized. 

You will make great money, with every benefit there is.  First year starting salary guarantee for newbies/recent grads will be 150k/year, plus a relocation/signing bonus of 10k.  Then, you'll ramp up based on an increasing percentage of net collections each year. We're looking for a long-term relationship, with all the responsibilities that requires (yes, Malcolm, there will be on-call duties...and meetings). But we don't have evening or weekend hours, nor satellite offices. So relax about that. 

It's always sunny inside Wolf Eye Center in suburban Wasilla, the cultural and commercial epicenter of the Mat-Su Valley in southcentral Alaska. It's a spectacular region of natural beauty with endless outdoor recreation possibilities (we challenge you to name one that we don't have), excellent schools, small town charm, cultural events, minimal traffic, no commuting, almost no sales tax, and no state income tax.
