Optometrist

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Newberry, SC. As an integral part of our practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people improve their vision and overall eye health. This position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, with the possibility of future ownership and partnership opportunities within the practice.

-PTO: 20 days, plus PTO for all major holidays.

-Additional benefits: Paid CE, Professional dues and malpractice/liability, and a 3% match for IRA contributions, with additional benefits to be added as we continue to grow and evolve!

At Precision Eye Care, we set ourselves apart from the rest by offering a superior exam experience, like no other. It is our standard of care, that we perform a screening visual field, wide field photos, and a wellness OCT (macula and optic nerve) with every comprehensive eye exam. We utilize the best technology, highly trained and efficient staff, a refracting technician, and a scribe to deliver a truly supreme exam experience for all of our patients.

The successful candidate must be a licensed Optometrist with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with our team. Prior experience in a similar role and a dedication to ongoing professional development are desirable, but new graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply!

Currently Precision Eye Care has 3 private practice locations and 1 corporate location in Seneca, SC. We plan to transition the corporate location to private practice in 1-2 years

Tech: Digital phoropters, wide-field fundus camera, OCT, topographer/meibographer, LLLT and IPL, Virtual VF, RETeval, and Rabin Cone Contrast testing.

Additional info: We are a full scope practice with heavy emphasis on disease, especially dry eyes. Our practice is located in a wonderful community with beautiful Lake Greenwood or Lake Murray close by and many options for hunting, fishing, hiking and camping in the area. The city life is close by as we are very close to Lexington, SC and the capital Columbia, SC also, historic Charleston, SC and Myrtle Beach are only about 2-3 hours away. If you are more interested in any of the other locations like Greenwood or Greenville (heavy Spanish-speaking patient base), we will be happy to let you know more. We are actively seeking a provider for our corporate location in Seneca, SC, which we plan to transition to a private practice in the next 1-2 years!

• Doctorate of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school
• State licensure to practice optometry in South Carolina (or willing to get State licensure in SC)
