Full time comprehensive optometrist

Looking Glass Eye Center in Western North Carolina is looking for a full time optometrist. This opportunity includes excellent earning potential along with many benefits such as 401k, continuing education funds, and a full service optical.

Our practice values patient care and you will have the opportunity to craft your schedule to benefit your style. We have two locations, Hendersonville and Brevard which are both lovely communities in the mountains of North Carolina. Asheville is just down the road.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing comprehensive medical ocular disease as well as prescribing glasses and contacts accurately and effectively.

Qualified applicants should be optometrists who are currently or are eligible to be licensed in the state of North Carolina. The ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff is highly valued. Continuing education is encouraged and supported by our practice and staying current on new treatments and technology is of utmost importance.

The compensation package will allow a motivated practitioner to earn a generous income. The first year will enjoy a guaranteed base with easily attainable bonus structure. Looking Glass Eye Center has Heidelberg OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, numerous soft and hard contact lens fitting options, in house optical with revenue sharing, and OptiLight.

Looking Glass Eye Center enjoys an excellent support staff. Your patients will have dedicated work up technicians and providers utilize scribes, who are also trained technicians, to promote efficiency and maximize your patient interaction time. A dedicated billing team is present on site at both locations.

Brevard and Hendersonville are beautiful towns in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Outdoor opportunities abound including hiking and biking, there is an excellent food scene, and the area has many wonderful educational opportunities for children. This is one of the most beautiful areas in the entire southeast.
