We are seeking a skilled and passionate optometrist who is proficient in medical optometry to join our growing team!
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree (or pending)
- Valid Pennsylvania state optometry license (or pending)
- Basic understanding of insurance billing (training provided with our proven billing techniques)
- Strong proficiency in medical optometry and ophthalmology management

What You’ll Do:
As an optometrist in our practice, you will practice to the fullest scope of your license, including:
- Comprehensive eye exams, refractions, and contact lens fittings
- Urgent eye care for farming and manufacturing injuries (same-day appointments)
- Foreign body removals, including rust ring extractions (daily cases!)
- Prokera® amniotic membrane treatment for ocular surface disease
- Fitting of specialty contact lenses, including custom soft, RGP, and scleral lenses
- Advanced dry eye and meibomian gland treatments (Lipiflow®)
- Medical management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye care
- Keratoconus treatment, including cross-linking co-management
- Myopia management (Paragon®, WAVE® Night Lens, MiSight®, etc.)
- Pre- and post-operative care for LASIK/PRK, cataract surgery, cross-linking, and pterygium removal
- Anterior segment imaging, fundus photography, and visual field analysis
- On-call duties (only one weekend per month—rarely called in!)
- Community outreach (2-3 no-cost eye screenings per year)
Schedule & Compensation
We believe in work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling:
- Full-time (30-40 hours/week) or Part-time (20-30 hours/week) available
- No weekends! We can condense your schedule into a 4-day workweek with 3-day weekends
- Competitive salary range: $70.00 - $110.00 per hour (Full-time package: $148k - $247k per year)
